Our staff members recognize the importance of our personal relationship with God as the foundation of our service to this congregation and to our community. We believe in building environments where healthy growth (spiritual, emotional, numerical etc.) can happen. And we desire to produce a laity-driven congregation where the staff serves as developers of ministries and equippers of people. Therefore we will be a resource to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Darren is one of the lead consultants for the Conference Healthy Church Initiative and is working on becoming a certified coach.

“I am excited about coming to St. Paul’s Las Cruces.  I have heard many wonderful things about the church and look forward to have fruitful ministry with the members of the church.  I love your tag line, ‘transforming the world from the heart of Las Cruces.’ My desire as pastor is to encourage, challenge, and lead people to grow into a deeper relationship with Jesus and with others.   I know together we can carry on the fine ministry of transformation that Eddie has begun and continued there.  Please be praying for us as we make this transition from Hobbs to Cruces.  Know you are in my prayers as well.”

St. Paul’s is called to pray for Rev. Skinner’s future ministry among us and for his family that God will bless this transitional time for all of them and our congregation as well.
