St. Paul’s UMC Youth

May 5th, during the third service, St. Paul’s will be honoring Chaeley Boykin who will be graduating from High School this year. She will be attending Grand Canyon University in the fall. Chaeley has been a member of St. Paul’s her entire life. She is a student at Centennial High School who is involved with: National Honors Society, STUGO, FCA, Pole Vault, and Cheerleading. She is also one of the Mayor’s Top Students. 
 
During the month of April, there will be a basket for members to bless her with gift items such as:  gift cards to restaurants or coffee shops, towels, paper goods, copier paper, or a personal gift.

Youth 2019 Students will be placing Flamingos in Yards.
7th: 9:30am Confirmation Sunday, Second Service.”PotLuck Lunch” Youth bring a meat dish.  4:30pm-6:30pm- Lesson/Game Night- Ruth Moorer to visit with Students- Jill  to bring the meal.
14th: 9am- Youth 19 Parent and Student Meeting.  4:30pm-6:30pm-Mission Project. Sally to bring meal.

20th: Easter egg Hunt- 8:30am-12pm, Pioneer Park. Y19 Students are asked to help.

21st: No Youth- Easter 25th-28th: Sheila out … Adult Camp at Sacramento 28th: Youth 4:30-6:30pm: Scavenger Hunt/Lesson-Need a meal provided.
 
May
5th: Graduating Senior High Sunday, 3rd Service 11am-12pm.Chaeley Boykin Graduate
4:30pm-6:30pm: Movie Night/Game Night at the Church-Need Dinner provided 12th: Mother’s Day, No Eve Youth.-Text, call, email Sheila if you are going to Bob’Os on the 19th. She will RSVPing with Bob’Os the following week.
19th: 9am- Youth 19 Info meeting.  11am-4pm $25.00 Bob’Os- Students must attend 2nd Service. 
26th: No Youth-Memorial Day
Sheila Skinner is a West Texas area girl who is the Director of Student Ministries at at St. Paul’s UMC. Sheila is also a Certified Lay Minister through the UMC New Mexico Conference, El Paso, TX District since February of 2017.
From 2010-2015 Sheila was the Director of Children’s ministries at Hobbs First UMC as well as the dean of King’s Kids Camp at Sacramento Assembly. 
Sheila is the mother of three sons, a daughter in law, future daughter in law, and two pugs. She and her husband Rev. Darren have been in ministry together for over 21 years together. Rev. Darren has been in ministry for 30 years.
